This is based off of smw so there should be a snes version would you like me to port this to the snes with an smw hack.

There is no possible way that SMC could successfully run on the SNES. Others may elaborate. Thanks, though!

SMC is inspired by SMW, but shares no code or code design. An SMW hack wouldn't be able to implement the many advances that SMC has, such as pixel-oriented object positioning instead of tiles.

If I port it to snes then you can just run it in an emulator on the wii.

Isn't that kinda resource-wasting? :P

It doesn't really waste too many resources.

Porting levels over...I see. Sounds like a commendable idea, but I cannot aid. I'm pretty sure someone here does some SMW-hacking, but I can't remember who.

Do you guys even know that the SNES is ULTRA old! It's nearly as old as the 1st game system Nintendo made! The Nintendo!

Yes, we all do. This port he's speaking of would simply be copying the levels into an SMW hack, which is somewhat feasible.

Okay. I just thought it would be weird to put SMC onto a system so old. And isn't hacking illegal?

It is illegal, but very few people seem to care. I'm not even sure if Nintendo cares (although I doubt they _like_ it).

Well, I care. I think Nintendo cares.
