Collision Rectangle?

Postby -DarkAceZ- » 14 Mar 2011 03:09

When I try to add new graphics (A ladder and now a cave tile.[IN PROGRESS]) it always does this:
Image
Now with the ladder I think there might have been some extra space, but for this tile I cut it down, but it's still like this!
Here's the image:
Image
And this is the .settings:
width 64
height 64
editor_tags level;ground;underground
name Middle
type massive
ground_type stone

Any help? Know what I did wrong?

The graphic itself must be a size to the power of 2!

What size is this?

Try to re-size it to 512x512.

Look at http://www.secretmaryo.org/wiki/index.php?title=SMC:Sprites for more stuff on that. 8)

Resize. How? In Gimp or in Inkscape?

Option 1) Re-size in Inkscape using the Object>Transform tool. And re-export the image.
Option 2) Re-size in gimp and lose a little bit of quality......

OK, I tried a filter, but there is a grey line on the bottom and some transparent area. I don't know how to fix this. Can someone do it?

Ooops, I need to post it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22806246/caveti ... vtrans.svg
[EDIT] It doesn't show layer 2 until you download it. Weird.

Hmmm, that link isn't working correctly. Could you just use the "Upload attachment" thing at the bottom of the post, that will work fine.

"The attachment quota has been reached". It's happening for everyone on the SMC board I think.

Yeah, it's been like that for a while now. But anyway, were you able to get the SVG?
