It appears he wants us to e-mail him to help him. I don't think he's reading these posts.

Please don't encourage replying to help topics by e-mail. The whole point of having a forum is as a collection of public knowledge, such that if anyone runs into the same problem, they can find a similar thread and find the answer. E-mail help has no record, and if everyone expects this, the forum will just turn into an endless list of "help me" posts with no actual help for anyone else.

Also, unless you're absolutely sure you'll be able to fix it, surely it's better to leave it as a community discussion, such that anyone can provide ideas.

As for the original poster, the computer you're trying to run on is a netbook, which aren't really designed for games, and SMC is quite a bit more intensive than it looks. Have you tried it when plugged into the mains? Often there are some power saving features which tend to slow everything down that it will disable when plugged in.

I meant to e-mail him to say "You should be looking at the forum as supposed to waiting for e-mails. Plus, there's an e-mail notification system." I haven't done so because I...don't want to. Lame excuse, yes, but it's the truth...

I'm also really tired right now, so if this post is confusing/run-on/trolling/etc., that's why.EOF
