[Git 2010-03-30] Passive platforms in front of massive stuff

Postby Crabmaster » 30 Mar 2010 18:39

OK sorry I don't have the SVN number I am using and I haven't gotten git, so I put the date because this bug has always happened.

OK if you set a moving platform to passive it is always in front of everything but other moving platforms and front passive stuff.
So if you have other passive stuff it will go in front, but MASSIVE stuff too.

BTW: I consider this a bug and not a Feature request.

mmm, seems like a bug request to me, are you asking that this be fixed then re implemented as a feature? or that we implement a new feature that fixes this bug?

Bug request,.
Anyway, this is both a feature request and a bug. It really depends on how SMC was supposed to do things.
This reminds me of how when massive objects like flooring are turned back passive they always render in front of everything (so doors appear behind yellow bricks). I am curious whether these are caused by the same thing. Maybe some predefined order-of-rendering based on object type?
