[1.9] Double-clicking scrollbar starts selected level

Postby Piglet » 27 Aug 2011 19:35

Start SMC, click Start, click the "Level" tab, click any level, then click twice quickly (double-click) on any part of the scrollbar to the right. The level you selected will start. Double clicks should be ignored when clicking the scroll bar; all you want to do is scroll quickly, not start a level.

[Observed on version 1.9 on 32-bit Windows XP Home SP3.]

OK, I just checked this out, and it doesn't start a level unless you have one selected.
Also, when there is no level selected, double-clicking the scroll bar does not make it scroll faster(It actually doesn't scroll at all). I guess it wasn't implemented.

I assume double-click scrolling is not implemented as a fault of CEGUI. Furthermore, I'm not sure if I've ever encountered a circumstance where one would double-click a scroll bar.

I do agree that this appears to be a bug, though, albiet not a big one. It may or may not be entirely a problem with CEGUI, not SMC, in which case we will have to patch that/give them a bug report/etc.

Thanks for the information!

Yeah, not "double-clicking" the scroll bar, but clicking it multiple times fast enough that it's interpreted as a double-click event, rather than, for example, two page downs.

Ah, I see what you mean. This issue sounds more impending* than before.

* There's probably a better word choice.
