I defend Windows because so many attack it. But I like Macintoshes in general, and I love Linux.

I only have Mac OS X, I have always used Mac OS X, and I will always use it. :P

I don't think that there is ever going to be a Mac OS XI. Besides, when Mac OS X originally came out, the "X" stood for the X in Unix. So no OS XI. :P

BTW I can't wait for Mac OS X Lion. :D

It is extremely likely that there will eventually be a Mac OS XI, to think there isn't doesn't make sense. There's already been ten versions, why not an eleventh?

Why do you think development of Mac OS 9 stopped on Version 9.2.2 while Mac OS X is currently on 10.6.5 (as far as I know)?

What? Your logic seems flawed. The fact that there are more versions of Mac OS X than 9 doesn't mean anything. The latest version of 8 was 8.6, which is more versions than 9 had.

Don't take offense; I'm sure Luiji didn't mean malice in his post.

Anyway, just because a certain version has less subversions ins't good or bad. A Mac, version 11, is almost certainly going to come, but I'm doubting that it will be called Mac XI. (I think that was BowserJr's point, as well.)
