I never said you could sell mods! I said... "Mods aren't free!" ! Roar.

It is interesting to note that I am posting this from a computer running Windows 7. Nevertheless, I still hate Windows.

Hahaha, DevEd2 on a Windows machine? How the hell did that happen? Did someone hold a gun to your head?

Also, I'm not sure if everyone has this perfectly clear, but:

1. Yes, legally the general populous cannot sell mods. Hence, many mods are distributed for freezle.
2. However, it is possible to obtain a license that allows you to sell mods. In fact, MrV once tried to influence me by suggesting that I make MineCraft mods, selling them and using the proceeds to help out SMC. I've yet to get up the courage to purchase MineCraft, however, since I keep on forgetting it exists.

Y U SO MEAN 2 ME?

...I'm using Windows because I don't have any choice. All the computers at the public library run Windows 7. I would ask them to make the switch to Linux, but... :hrmph:

Also, Windows 7 isn't that bad. though that's probably because they stole so many features from Apple >:)

Albeit Windows stole many features from Mac, Mac has stolen many features from GNU/Linux, too. Particularly, the multi-workspace environment that everybody tells me it has but I've never figured out how to enable.

In order to avoid getting too off-topic in these forums, I shall ask something about Minecraft.

Is it written in truly portable Java? Can it run on Windows, Mac OS X, GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFlyBSD, Haiku and all of the other operating systems that support Java?

If this turns into an OS war I will suspend everyone involved. At the very least, put it in its own topic!

It's a good bet that the online version will run on any of those OSes you mentioned. (except Mac OS X (FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU~), only the client will work on that OS)

Based on screenshots from Google images, I prefer Minecraft's graphics style.

Also, isn't 1.3 a downgrade, MrV?

I'd like to get Minecraft at some point, but I've never quite gotten around to it. I'm planning on getting Isaac, so maybe after I finish that I'll make Minecraft my next game-to-play. I should also finish up the Half-Life series, the last I played was HL2, leaving Part 1&2 to hang in the background. I also here there's supposed to be a Part 3 that hasn't been released or something...Valve's weird with their numeric scheme.
