Hungarian translation

Postby tae_new123 » 03 Nov 2012 17:06

There is no Hungarian translation of this game. Maybe someone can do this with machine translators such as InternetTolken and more.

Start the bad translations using InternetTolken and Google.

Translated with InternetTolken: A gyerünk barna róka jumps felüli a henyélő ékszorító pofa.
Translated back with Google: The go beyond the lazy brown fox jumps ékszorító jaws.

InternetTolken doesn’t provide a translation for the word “jumps”.

Google Translate provides a perfect translation.

Google Translate wrote:A gyors barna róka átugrik a lusta macska.

Translated back:
Google Translate wrote:The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy cat.

So why use a bad translation when you can use a good translation?

Hungarian is provided in InternetTolken, Google Translate and InterTran, but there are swear words in this language. You want this game translated to Hungarian as well.

SMC doesn't have any swear words in game. Also, Google Translate has provided me with many imperfect translations.

FluXy is having bad grammar in the title; but you want it translate to Hungarian language.

The following games that contain support for Hungarian language are...
  • Battle for Wesnoth (open-source), many translators
  • Dead Space (commercial), Consell Pannonia Ltd.
  • Dragon Age: Origins (commercial), Fontoló Stúdió Ltd.
  • Mass Effect 2 (commercial), Fontoló Stúdió Ltd.
  • SuperTux (open-source), Kővágó Zoltán

In which title has FluXy failed in the area of grammar? Also, I doubt that he'd approve of automatic translations, no matter how many other games have Hungarian translations already.

It is the forum title.

Battle for Wesnoth has a Hungarian translation done by several talented people.

You want to have a Hungarian translation of Secret M*ryo Chronicles.

There are no grammatical errors in the title of this forum. I might not be looking in the right place, so if you could please put a quote here.

Also, please don't tell us what we want. We know what we want. A Hungarian translation would be nice but there are plenty of things that are currently higher-priority. We will not add a translation until there is at least one human being that speaks Hungarian that is willing to manage the project.

Battle for Wesnoth speaks Hungarian and Finnish languages. Here are the contributors who worked on the Hungarian translation in Battle for Wesnoth.

Márton Barthalos (Aldebaran Ghrelin), Csaba Czakó (Horus), Kristóf Erdélyi, Balázs Fábián (nermal93), Krisztián Hamar, Zoltán Kelemen (kele), Dániel Kovács (Consalamander), Krisztián Kádár-Németh (Rudanar Firmus), László Kékkői (BlackEvil), Norbert Majsa (wias), Katalin Máthé (katkadu), Tamás Németh (nTOMasz), Csaba Pintér (piere), András Salamon (ott), Adrián Soltész (majominia), Tamás Széll (TomJoad), Gábor Udvari (Udi), Zsolt Udvari, Péter Vasvári (honorshark)

In the subtitle, avoid placing a space bar after the exclamation mark.

Oh, that. FluXy puts spaces between his sentence and his ending punctuation mark all the time. I have no idea why.

Yes, FluXy does. And then you’ve shown the Synthesis International S.r.l. page get deleted in the Dragon Age Wiki from Wikia. Need a Hungarian translation? Oracle places the spaces in sentences when doing virtual machine process, like...
  • Starting virtual machine ...

In the subtitle, avoid placing the visible space after the exclamation mark. On this thought; we need a Hungarian translation for this game.

I'm pretty sure FluXy is the only person who can change that and he's been away for quite awhile. Also, we will not be doing anything with a Hungarian translation until a human being authors it without the aid of an automated translation system and submits the resulting data.

FluXy places visible spaces on the exclamation mark in the subtitle?
Also, he has been banned in elektroda.pl, GBATemp, Anime News Network Forum, Casinomeister, DOS ain’t dead, Yoshi Lighthouse, The Nexus Forums, SuperTux Wiki and Wikipedia.
Someone needs to do a Hungarian translation for this game.

Now you are seriously starting to repeat yourself. If you keep this up I'm going to lock this topic and, if necessary, ban you from the forums.

Stop locking this topic and banning you in the forums.
Do a Hungarian translation for this game.
How long will the ban expire on this forum?

Re: Hungarian translation

No. We do not have anybody who speaks Hungarian. We will not use automated software to generate a Hungarian translation. None of us have enough time to fix bugs, let alone spend the time to locate someone who does speak Hungarian to do the translation for us. I am locking this thread. If you bring up a Hungarian translation again without offering a translator who actually can read and write both Hungarian and English in order to create a Hungarian translation, then I will permanently ban you from the forums.
