What IDE do you use for C++ & CMake?

What IDE do you use in Linux to work with C++ and use Cmake?

I was using QT Creator for a grad school project, but [EDIT: Cmake does not seem to be integrating with it]

I figured that since Secret Maryo uses Cmake, several of you probably already have a good handle on what IDE's are good.

[EDIT: Apparenlty Cmake is supposed to integrate with QT creator. I found that the file menus were missing in QT Creator and appear if I purge package appmenu-qt. I think cmake-qt-gui is supposed to make a CMake wizard show up in QT Creator, but it doesn't show up still for some reason]

I don’t use any IDE because IMO they are heavy and bloated. I prefer to use Emacs, and run CMake from the commandline.

I've found debugging tools, etc, to be very intuitive from IDE's myself. I guess I'm a bit of a visual person myself. I can understand why you'd prefer command line -- one command to do something without going through menus or waiting for a gui component to load. Ultimately everyone may need to do some work on the command line.

If anyone else uses IDE's I'd be interested to learn a bit more about Linux IDE's.

These instructions worked pretty well for me to integrate CMake with the QT Creator IDE for a grad school project:
https://qt-project.org/doc/qtcreator-2. ... cmake.html

I will probably try this on Secret Maryo Chronicles later on...

For reference, I use LXTerminal, GNU Bash, ViM, Pluma (a fork of GEdit), and g++ (though I've been migrating most of my stuff to clang++ due to its higher-quality error messages).
