Small program for windowed mode

Postby Hasenfuss » 06 Mar 2008 20:13

Hello,

i've done a small program for games playing in windowed mode.

The program called d-SPLASH is able to run the game, put your own preferred background on the desktop and position the game to your preferred position (i.e. center or top left).

I'm using my own program quite often with SMC and also some other games (especially older ones which have a fit size, like Baldurs Gate or Sacred) and it's quite handy for that purpose.

If you want to give it a try, visit http://d-splash.palazzo-mondo.de for screenshots and download.

I would be happy if somebody would like to create a background especially for running SMC in windowed mode.

German and english version available.

Greetings
Hasenfuss

Interesting program, and thanks for your support/endorsement of this game :D

You know you can run in fullscreen mode, but you like window mode? Of course developing means mostly windowed mode

I don't quite understand the purpose of this program. So you set the background and it puts the game in windowed mode? Couldn't you just configure SMC to windowed mode and configure your desktop background?

i believe this is an old topic from before windowed mode was an option in SMC, again, old topics sometimes include outdated information, it is best to check the date before posting to a topic that does not make sence as it is most likly no longer an issue.

Twelve months and this is already obsolete? I thought that Add-Ons would live longer then that...

Sorry.
